Our Team

Pro-Type thrives under expert leadership. Mark Taylor, our Vice President, built his career on innovation, optimization, and employee empowerment. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, a Project Management Professional certification, and an MBA from Pamplin School of Business. With 10 years of industry experience, he has developed a creative approach to management that includes a passion for problem-solving, both internally and with customer concerns, and an understanding of how different personalities come into play in the workplace and within customer relations. 

Our President, Ted Wilson, started his career with Pro-Type at the age of 16. Even then, his dedication was clear, and through the years he served in many roles as he developed a thorough understanding of the industry and our business. After earning a degree from Radford University, he committed himself to modernizing our machining operations and helped us transition into CNC programming. With 35 years of experience, he leads by example, with compassion for the entire team, pride in the work we do, and a commitment to being of service to his employees, his customers, and his community. 

Together, Mark Taylor and Ted Wilson are leading a team of more than 50 employees, each of them dedicated to personal and professional growth, continued technological advancements, and complete customer satisfaction.
